Patsy Derry

Inspired by beauty wherever she finds it, Patsy Derry has been capturing nature with paint and in photography for thirty years. She has a keen eye for the intricacy of detail as well as the sweeping grandeur of the panoramas of the Lake District where she lives. Patsy holds a certificate in photography from Lancaster University and as a qualified teacher has been teaching painting and drawing for over twenty years. Her interests are not restricted solely to the rural environment, but embrace her interest in portraiture, expressing human interaction, and the exploration of pattern, curves and line in nature and urban landscape.
