Phil Moore

Phil Moore was born in Sunderland, and studied Fine Art and Photography at Clevelend College of Art and Design. Having subsequently lived, worked and exhibited in Central London, Phil has now settled in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire, where he has established his own photographic business. As a photographer and painter, Phil is strongly drawn to and influenced by the potential of natural objects, such as ice. He favours this subject for the qualities of light, colour and shape which interact within an enclosed space, which becomes the dominant subject matter of his images. Phil is also fascinated by the natural patterns and visual effects naturally created through the transient nature of ice, captured permanently with his own abstract style.
