Stuart Kettle

Born in Nottinghamshire, contemporary painter Stuart Kettle studied Fine Art at Nottingham School of Art and later Graphic Design at Leicester Polytechnic.

"My work over the past few years has followed the St Ives School of Painting. Artists including Peter Lanyon, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham and Ben Nicholson have been my source of inspiration.
I continue to develop my own style using the Isles of Scilly as my main reference. Colour, texture, landscape and form of objects make up my painting content."
